- Focus on engagement rate, not bounce rate. The engagement rate metric has replaced the bounce rate metric in most GA4 reports.
- Configure events and track goals. GA4 uses an event-based reporting model that logs every user interaction on your site as an event such as initial page loads, scroll depth, video views, and link clicks.
- Integrate GA4 with Google Search Console (GSC). This allows you to analyze how your organic search campaigns affect your site on Google directly from the GA4 dashboard.
