A study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that returning to school early following a concussion may speed up recovery among children with concussion, adding that more moderate-high intensity cognitive activity is associated with faster symptom resolution. Researchers also noted that limiting moderate-intensity activities involving screen time during the first week post-injury may help speed recovery.
