Strictly’s Annabel Croft looks radiant in pink dress and matching cape as she and partner Johannes Radebe arrive at the studio ahead of the semi-final – MyCyberBase

Strictly Come Dancing star Annabel Croft and partner Johannes arrived at the studio on Saturday ahead of the semi-final.

The former tennis star, 57, and Johannes, 36, will be performing two dances: a salsa and a Viennese waltz.

The salsa will be set to You’ll Be Mine (Party Time) by Gloria Estefan and the waltz to Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want by Amelia Warner.

Annabel wore a beautiful pink dress with a fur-lined cape while Johannes wore a stylish blue tail coat. 

Johannes clutched a can of Redbull and lit up a cigarette to steady his nerves ahead of the show.

The three other semi-finalist pairs are Bobby and Dianne, Ellie and Vito, and Layton and Nikita and the musical guest for the semi-final will be Take That.

Ellie, who rose to fame on Coronation Street, and Vito have 1/5 odds of winning.

In the quarter-finals, which was Musical Week, Annabel and Johannes achieved 33 points for their foxtrot set to the Wicked song For Good.

The week before, they received their first 10 of the series for their Paso doble to España cañí by Pascual Marquina Narro. 

Annabel gushed about how much she loved ‘trying something new’ and performing the ‘fiery and dramatic routine’.

Then it was over to the judges, with Craig scoring eight, Motsi and Shirley both gave a nine while Anton scored the couple their very first ten.

Annabel and Johannes were left speechless and almost collapsed to the floor in shock before sharing a big hug.

During her time on the show, Annabel moved the audience to tears with a performance in memory of her husband Mel Coleman, a former yachtsman.

Annabel said at the time: ‘This week it’s Couple’s Choice and we’re dancing a lyrical dance to the song Wings by Birdy. 

‘I think this song is definitely a tribute to my husband Mel. It couldn’t be anything other than that. 

The couple shared children Charlie, Amber, and Lilly. 

The twenty-first series of Strictly Come Dancing ends on 16 December on BBC One.

Bobby says: ‘I’m so excited to be part of the Strictly line up, I can’t wait to start training like a professional dancer and adding a few moves to my locker. I’m looking forward to performing in-front of everyone.’

Age: 57 

Profession:  Broadcaster and ex tennis player

Annabel says: ‘I have always loved watching Strictly and can’t quite believe I’m going to be part of this magical show – swapping tennis balls for glitter balls and looking forward to finding some joyfulness in the process.’
