Utah board report card measures student performance

The Utah School Report Card, released recently by the State Board of Education, shows that English and science scores achieved by high-school students on state assessments grew slightly over the past year, but math scores declined. However, students are still recovering from the pandemic, and the state is also measuring students’ growth in performance over time and studying schools that performed well during the pandemic to duplicate their success, according to Ann-Michelle Neal, accountability specialist for the state board.
