Edtech provider Carnegie Learning has been piloting LiveHint AI, a math tool incorporating generative artificial intelligence that can anticipate students’ problem-solving approaches and the most common mistakes. The company hopes to ease teachers’ uncertainty about AI and illustrate how it can work well in education, says Steve Ritter, chief data scientist for Carnegie Learning, which last year debuted ClearMath Elementary, Mathia Adventure and Mathstream.
