Although their relationship eventually ended, Toby’s positive memories of their time together inspired him to give love another shot on screen.

Toby opened up about his past Love Island experience during a conversation with his fellow UK Love Island Games contestants. When asked by season 5 Love Islander Curtis Prichard about his time on the show, Toby reflected, “it worked the first time” as they “went all the way,” referring to the fact that he and Chloe secured the runner-up position in season 7.

Following their breakup, Toby revealed that “serious core problems” in their relationship led to their decision to part ways, making it a relatively easy choice. However, having experienced finding his first love on Love Island, Toby is eager to give it another chance.

Love Island Games viewers witnessed Toby coupling up with USA star Cely Vazquez in the first episode. The pair shared their past Love Island experiences, including their encounters with Casa Amor. Toby began to recount his time in Casa Amor back in 2021, where he found himself partnered with Abigail Rawlings. However, upon his return to the main villa with Casa Amor islander Mary Bedford, Toby opted not to pursue a relationship with either girl and ultimately reconciled with Chloe.
